Glenmore (“Glen”) Powers
Glen has over 25 years of experience in tax, criminal, and regulatory law. He previously served as Deputy Attorney General and Director of Investigations for the Alabama Department of Revenue, where he authored the state’s Tax Fraud Manual and led complex criminal tax investigations. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Trial Attorney at the Alabama Department of Revenue, handling complex tax litigation. He also worked as an IRS Chief Counsel attorney, gaining insight into federal tax enforcement. Since leaving government service, Glen has focused his practice on cases involving complex federal, state, and local civil tax matters, criminal tax violations, financial crimes, and fraud. He is a graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law (with honors) and earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida.
Glen is licensed to practice law in Alabama and New York.
