Glenmore P. Powers II is a co-founder of Powers Marion. He brings over 20 years of legal expertise to our firm, with a distinguished career in tax and regulatory law. As a former Deputy Attorney General and Director of Investigations for the Alabama Department of Revenue, Glenmore authored the state’s Tax Fraud Manual and led complex criminal tax investigations, equipping him to navigate high-stakes disputes with precision. His prior role as an IRS Chief Counsel attorney deepened his insight into federal tax enforcement, ensuring strategic defense for our clients.
A graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law (with honors) and the University of Florida (LL.M. in Taxation), Glenmore combines rigorous legal acumen with practical experience. Tracy is also a registered mediator on the Alabama State Court Mediator Roster and is currently working with Glenmore to create a mediation organization that will serve those in disputes with the IRS and state taxing authorities.
